dont think it is, unless he used part of it on his CD, these were recorded from the front window of the front coach...all the way...theres about 30mins of pure thrash!, Im busy with the ELR route at the moment, once ive got what i needed to be done out of the way(by weeks end) ill get on with the hymek, western and 40 sound sets, ive already compiled the hymek set, and it just needs final tweaking, then once stuart williamson has said yes to me using the warship sms files for it ill upload it.

Nice one.
chris, just wondering any chance of a hymek repaint kit, like the cl50 one being made available as could do with more hymeks in blue livery this end.no problems if not as see you are very busy, and look forward to any work you do especailly having a western on sounds like those warships, really feels that you are behind one,and like the stop and start of the engines.nice touch that.
many thanks.

hopefully this week ill be uploading a new hymek and western sound set along with a new class 40 soundset just for fun.
they arent as good as the warship soundset by far, as the recordings i had to work with werent as good as the warship ones i had, but they sound far better than what is available at the moment. the loop far better and dont sound like a snorting pig on crack! the source recordings were from either the front coach or back cab and are quite loud, the class 40 soundset came from arecording of 40145 hauling 25 coaches up the ELR, and boy does it bark!
Ill also be uploading a BR blue version of onslaught and also a new improved hymek model as D7096 in Br blue livery..ill look into the repaint kit richard, but no promise's!

thats how they sound in the cab, the cab sounds are from recordings of inside the cab, with lots of insulation and a transmission wining away under your feet you dont really hear the exhaust in the cab. im sorry if you think they are quiet, thats how they are in real life! i strived for this sound set to be as real as possible, and they are from real recordings of D832, the outside recordings the microphone was jammed in a roof vent right next to the exhaust..thats why they sound so good and loud on the outside, the inside sounds were recorded in the back cab with the microphone placed on top of the driving desk.
Ive finished compiling the soundsets for hymek western and class 40, they use the same recordings for inside and outside on all sets, and they dont feature start/shut down feature as i havent got the recordings available. but im impressed with the results, altho not as fluid as the warship sounds its hard to tell the difference when notching up and down, and they are quite loud and thrashy! im just waiting for stuart williamson to give me the go ahead to upload and ill do so!
