The management had publicly stated when the stock would all be presented in their proud new livery and without a source of paint stripper, the staff were left with little option.

More like: "But the toilet's are Closed!"

Thorough inspection of the train showed that it was really there, and not David Blane's famous "I can make a train appear before you're eye's" trick.
