Midland Mainline logo

Post by n863dwt »

MML have changed their logo as can be seen on their web page http://www.midlandmainline.com

this is said to be due to the previous logo being only aplicable in nottingham area,
“Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be
judged accordingly. The rest... is silence.”

do u mean the old MML livery and LOGO or the new MML livery and LOGO?

also to be noted is the fact they have a new company image....thats different to their £18million HST refurbishment.

Its interesting to see that they dont fair any difference from the Voyagers and thus only the Livery has changed.

Looking at the pic it appears the body shape around the front lights has changed, possibly the light cluster itself and the drivers side door, The grab bar on the front is missing too - Essentially it's the same as a 220/221 but with a bit of cosmetic detailing.

This may be because of the story that was posted on here about Virgin owning the copyright to the voyager cabs appearance or maybe it's just a change for no reason other than the fact it could be changed and someone wanted it changed.

Ah but the fixing for the grab bar are there, they just havent fitted one. Its a test unit, so it may be on finished units. On close inspection the light clusters look very similar, looks like a smal adjustment to the window, and then the livery continues the design, and we cant fully see the cab side window, so it may just be emphasis in the livery that gives it a new appearence.

Wonder if the new loho wil appear on HST's or Turbostars

Better than the Turbostars they are replacing 4 cars is better than 3 on the turbostars now

Is 4 coaches as long as they can be or can you have say 5 coaches or longer or like virgin coupple 2 trains togather

Wot ?

On the MML forum, we thought MML chnaged the logo just for the website, as £18million was spent only a while ago on a new livery refurbishment. We changed it to the new [WEB] MML logo see the MML Forum : http://mml4msts.proboards21.com . What do other people think ?

My Turbostar livery middel carriage was a good guess look how simalr it looks to the 3rd coach !

Well done the person who took the picture :D :D

phat2003uk, if you can get some pictures, then please do get them! I for one would like to see them! It's dead expensive for me to get to the Midlands, especially beyond Brum...
