What are you talking about scrapped. Heres the picture I took 3 months ago before it was repainted.
BTW look out for other locos that will be joining this one for the SR extravaganza!

It's the new Govia livery, rebranding South Central into the New Southern Railway, watch out for our Electrostars to be painted like that.

I'm damn sure it was scrapped..unless it was secretly rescued. Those pics are good, but i'm sure I would have heard about it before now if its still around. If it actualy is, I'll eat my hat ;)

Well, I've never heard of it being preserved - we'll know if a 74 is reputedly en-route to this event.... :-?

Good photographs from the 60s though, provided conditions were right the photographs can be good quality (particularly if posed for the BR(S) Official Photographer).
