i voted yes, are you going to make it. Also all of Didcot's locos could be made by different people or your self maybe.

It'll be a very short route but I'd like to see it - I I have a track plan (unlikely to be to scale) in an old programme/brochure from my last visit.

Will scan it in.

Hmmmm, would this be a modern Didcot. I've been a few times, it was quite good. Last time I went was about a year ago, maybe 2. Loads of freightliners :). The last time I went there were 37's on freightliners which was nice :D. Oh yeah, and loads of Great Western HST's :-? How far is it from Reading to Didcot?

Not far at all.... A direct train journey takes 15 minutes and you get the choice of Voyager, HST, Adelantie or Thames Turbo.

Last time I did the journey was when I boarded the wrong Thames train, I was supposed to be going to Theale but the doors closed before I realised my mistake..... Luckilly no guard was on board so I managed to get off at the next stop (Didcot), Watch the 66's and 08 shunting wagons and catch a Voyager straight back.

Actually, I'm now tempted to pay another visit to Didcot Railway centre and I just saw a pinprick on a map that shows there's a railway centre of sorts at Chosley(?) which is between Reading and Didcot.
