Does anybody know the times for 5051 going to Bristol today. If someone does please could they post them please.

Do you mean 5051 going Bristol. If so why don't the Didcot railway centre make it diesel hauled with the steam behind the diesel.

I don't know the timings, but I’ve just returned from site and 5051 isn't going anywhere today (at least so far today.)

The GWS are not running the Railtour, just hiring someone (I don't know whom an engine.)

Can't really see the point to that, for it to work 5051 would have to be in light steam otherwise she ill run hot due to lack of lubrication, if she is in light steam she will need at least 1 person on the footplate to make sure she is allrite (steam pressue, water in bolier etc.) which would be another cost on top of the trip. If your going to run it diesel hauled throughout its best to have just the diesel on.

SVR inspectors are going down to 7802 at Churston on Thursday.
