ur see that dps deltics have been going mad in scotland , great running and great pic shots hope all enjoy ..

also next 9016 working is ecs dates are

July 2nd, Steam Dreams, D9016, ECS Alton to Liverpool St & return.

July 6th, Steam Dreams, D9016, ECS Alton to London & return.
(if shes up to it)

then next deltic mainline outing is
July 7th, VSOE, D9016, Victoria - York - Victoria. 1st leg via h/north 2nd leg via ecml potters bar.

before i go what repaint would u like to see 9016 in ???? id prefer old br blue

Have you got any timing for that last one?

I will be in UK at that time and would give my right arm to see a deltic on the ECML again!

Well I don't mind the purple too much... So I reckon it would be interesting to perhaps see how the Deltics may have looked if nationalisation hadn't happened. Perhaps paint it up in LNER livery, or maybe LMS carmine? Hmmm... I may have to try reskinning...

But as nobody will ever sanction that sort of thing on a real Deltic, I'd have to plump for BR green with small yellow ends.
