Well, in my spare room actually, but I lack the funds to purchase the panels. Once I have them the rest is a piece of piss...

No, the 170 is lavatory-equipped so you don't have to use the cab to do that.

So are the 319's, with two toilets, but its amazing how driver urine still finds it way into the washer bottle, under the desk on the secondmans side.

The 170's are rumoured to be ready for winter service to replace the DEMU's (Thumpers, or whatever you want to call them). Because the Sh***y Rail Assers want to get rid of them. They will use 2 car 170's for the Hastings Ashford International services and on the Uckfield Oxted service.

Summer next year will see introduction of the 3 car or possibly even 4 car 170s for new Uckfield London Bridge services and a new Brighton Ashford International services.

The pictures shown are the first coach to be made apparently so that makes it 33 vehicles left to make.

Why do trains now have to have high in intensity lights and I see that instead of them being clear, they're blue!

170399 is the one in the Birmingham livery.

Well, they dont fluctuate in intensity, and they can be seen from about 4 miles away. They look great if you ask me. :)
