Peak Rail V7

Post by 47522 »

Hi all,
I have just downloaded the Peak Rail route v7, very good for what i have seen so far!
There is just one problem!
I think judging by the error messages i get the route needs one or more of the magnetic platform kits!
It dose not say anything about them in the readme or description of the route!
If anyone knows if you need any of the platform kits, please could you say!

Thanks

Kind regards
Matthew

The platform Kit installer is within the PR1 folder. I may have missed it from the Readme......

I had been working on the route all day. :) (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.)

I spent 14 Hours finishing bit's and Signalling the route. :D (I was a little tired when I made the Readme. :) )

Platforms

I had the same problem. It DOES mention the platforms in the Readme but the only two batch files in the PR1 directory are the Installme and the snowfix, jack **** about platofrms.

WELL :fist: I'm pleased Sod's law is alive & well :(

I'm downloading the full one piece file, with several disconnections - in fact one has just occurd as I type this ( ), but it is for just these large files that I got a download manager that allows resumes. I am at 79%, and have been on line downloading for just on 3 hrs. the download rate varying from 3 kbs to as much as 5.5 kbs.

I used to curse that I would get to 99% download, with out a download manager, and get disconnected (it happened more than onece  ) so I visited (plug plug) http://www.tucows.com & searced there for download managers. I currently use "Meta Products" Download Express.

So I shall re-connect for tha last 45 mins worth of file.

Deep joy.

Not Bragging but full download took 11 minutes in broadband. Hope you other guys get broadband someday soon.
Alan is this going to be a beta route for long or will you advise us on updates as far as scenery is concerned in a day to come and finally will we have to scrap your original version and scrap all the activitys thats in it. Finally thanks for the effort you have put into it.
Regards.

If you scrap any bits which contact with Buxton and Chinley then you should be ok. :)

I changed Track at Buxton and the Junction just past Peak Forest.

I have installed it from the five parts and all the landscape is white, lots of little bushes follow the train and View 4 is from way below the track! Other than that, it's OK!

Can someone help please (I have the latest version of Xtracks installed).
