Oh. That is going to be an issue then. Those CDs are for the original MSTS from years ago.

can u still get the original game

Maybe able to download 'open rails' and play on that, someone will have to confirm though. It's a free updated version of MSTS

If you buy any cd's from the UKTS shop they are for MSTS,most TS2017 items are download only,either from Steam/Steam market place Payware,Steam workshop free downloads,and sites like DP Simulations,Just Trains,Steam Sound Supreme,UKTS Library and if you want German then Rail-Sim.de.

If a Item says Train Simulator,then it's probably for MSTS if it says Train Simulator 2017,then it's for the one you have now.

Thanks for all the info Now cot the orig and tried to dl the Great Orme but dont know how to install i downloaded and ran all but wont show up in game

Have you got all these installed it won't work other wise

YOU WILL NEED UKFINESCALE, XTRACKS AND NEWROADS PRIOR TO INSTALLING THIS ROUTE. IN ORDER TO GET THE ACTIVITIES TO WORK, YOU WILL NEED THE RELATED GREAT ORME TRAM.

I re downloades these and on this route (GT orme) only as it now showing


"Train World" not loading

That's easy to over come go to UKTS front page look for MSTS quick picks,scroll down to T section,click on it to download the newest version
install it into your MSTS global folder,make sure you keep a back up of it,as if you install the older routes,they can overwrite it.

If you go to the MSTS forum there are plenty of people there who will be able to help you out.
They are a friendly group of people,and very knowledgeable all things MSTS,give them a try.
