Hi Robert, Happy New Year to you, if you do a search on Google like I've just done, they are both available on the http://www.amazon.de site and
I've used this site before looking for some Pro-Train Routes.
You will of course get e-mail messages back in German but I sent them to my Google Mail Inbox and use the translation tab to read and print them in
English.
I would advise you to read the posts on the Trainsim.com site before buying them as it has been pointed out these Routes only run on the un-modified
version of MSTS and so you will get the same problems that blighted the original MSTS set-up, but have been cured by adding the likes of the Bin Patch.

Cheers
Bob

Hi Robert, I've looked at other options on the Trainsim.com site and there are at least 5 Routes that are available and two updates for the
standard MSTS Tokyo-Hakone Route.
Go on to the site and select File Library, then Search, Select MSTS Routes and in the file name box enter any of the following terms :-
1) JP6.zip
2) JP7.zip
3) Railway.zip
4) Japanmag.zip
5) eer.zip
The last two are amendments to your original Routes
6) Odakyu1a.zip
7) Odakyu1b/zip
All the above are free and worth having a look at.

Cheers
Bob

Hi Bob, Happy New Year.

I am actually more interested in the stock from those routes than the trackage it's self. I indeed found them on Amazon.de but don't speak or read a lick of German and was having trouble figuring out how to make sure they make it to the USA if I ordered them.

Thanks for the names of the files on TS.com. I will have a look at them a little later.

Hi Robert, the easiest way to read foreign e-mails is set up a Google Mail e-mail address for yourself, then after getting any e-mails that you want to
read in your normal account then simply forward them to this address.
That way when you go into this address, you will find your message in your inbox and you should see above the message a box that allows you to translate
to English, on screen you should see the message in plain English which you can read and if necessary print it out.
I've still got my e-mails in my inbox relating to my purchases so that they can stay there without cluttering up my normal inbox in my BT-Yahoo e-mail
address.

Cheers
Bob

Hi Robert
An alternative translation.
Type "translate" into Google.
The search page opens with lots of links BUT at the top of the page are 2 text boxes.
Copy your foreign text, and paste it into the left hand box "Enter Text", and the translation appears in the RH box.

Hi Robert, yesterday I had a look at the list of the Japanese Routes I posted and found that I made a mistake in the one I called Japanmag.zip,
it should be Japmag.zip.
I downloaded them all to see what was in them all, JP6.zip has only 1 Activity as has Railway.zip, JP7.zip has 2 Activities which are the run one
way and it's return journey, eer.zip has no Activities but uses stock Kiha31 consists so one could be created using this train.
The Japmag.zip and the pair of alterations to the Tokyo-Hakone i.e. Odakyu1a.zip and Odakyu1b.zip make major changes to the Default Routes
and I've decided that I will not bother with these and keep the originals as they are.

Cheers

Bob, I checked them out but really did not find any keepers though. I am still looking for the original payware addons even know they are really tough to find now.

I really wish we had the Shinkansen 0 series and the very first Shinkansen route for MSTS/ORTS.

I just don't know what I am doing wrong? But I can't find drawings or blue prints for any of the Shinkansens or any route data (Track Charts) etc?

They just don't seem to put out much? Or I just ain't looking in the right places? Japan has to have some kind of model railroading scene and associated fan bases and publications either monthly or bi-monthly.

Hi Robert, I've just used Shinkansen as a general search term on the Trainsim.com site and a few high speed train sets cropped in the library.
Have a look for yourself and see if they are of any use to you, I didn't find any Routes though but did find an Add-on from 2004 that might interest
you.
Click on the link below and it should take you to the site, whether it is still available I don't know

The Shinkansens are on my machine. They are pretty nice models but are much newer than the first generation of Shinkansen trains.

The payware Aerosim addon is on my wishlist for the feature. I can't believe they still want $35 for such an old add-on. They never heard of having a half sale either.

Thanks for your continued offers of assistance.

I know the Japanese company Twilight Express had several MSTS routes but they are sadly long gone now. I know they started to rebuild and modernize a older release but then they just disappeared.
