North Wales Coast Installation Problem
Hi having just received this route this morning,i have installed the miniroute correctly and everything is running ok.However what I cannot understand is when the activities show up, the first ones in the list and there are many, just have a number such as OZ01off 1A25off 1D64off and so on.The last twenty seven activities are all named.The activities with the numbers do work but I think this is rather odd not knowing what they are called before you load them.I have never had this problem with my other four miniroutes I have installed,can anyone help me please with this rather strange happening.Thanks.Peter.

You have installed NWC correctly. There is no problem.PGH60 wrote:Hi having just received this route this morning,i have installed the miniroute correctly and everything is running ok.However what I cannot understand is when the activities show up, the first ones in the list and there are many, just have a number such as OZ01off 1A25off 1D64off and so on.The last twenty seven activities are all named.The activities with the numbers do work but I think this is rather odd not knowing what they are called before you load them.I have never had this problem with my other four miniroutes I have installed,can anyone help me please with this rather strange happening.Thanks.Peter.
The numbers you mention are train reporting numbers. You can still view the description of these acts.
Rough example
1 = fast passenger
2 = slow passenger
4 = Parcel stock
5 = empty stock
0 = light loco
6 to 9 = freight.
Thanks

HI, thanks for the replies explaining about the activity list, I must say I am not very impressed with the outcome of this route.Every route over the years I have installed into MSTS I have never known the activity list to be like this. Rather disappointed.Thanks.Peter.

This is a very detailed route and I believe the train numbers/timetable are historic . You won't be disappointed for long.
Thanks

Hi,
The activities are, mostly, based on an actual timetable - hence the codes for the activity titles.
I'm not 100% certain what benefit a title of "Valley - Llandudno" would have compared to 0F21; as you'd still need to read the briefing to get a more detailed understanding of what you'll be doing. At least with the head code, there is an indication up font of the type of service you'll be driving.
It is well worth getting over your issues with the route's naming convention and enjoying the route for what it is.
