Hi Ged

I've killed off what I did last night and started again. I started a new act but it just didn't open up. Perhaps I try again reinstalling it again.

Cheers

Hi Steve,
When you said it "stopped working", did you get any message?

Also, make sure that you right-click train.exe, select Properties and click the "Run as administrator" box.

Hi Ged,

It just seemed to freeze and there was no message. I brought up task manager and it said "Not running".

I know what you mean when you say right-click train.exe, select properties and click the "Run as administrator" box. But is this when I install MEP or when I' running Tools and Editor. Sorry Ged, I'm a bit lost here.

Cheers
Steve

Hi Ged

Thought I would let you know how I got on with MEP Editor.

I didn't bother with for about a week and then I had another look at it. There was a couple of acts I wanted to copy and replace them with steam locos. They were the Hull to KX which I replaced with an A4 60004 anad the Bradford to KX which I replaced with an A1. This seemed to work Ok except at first in the cab view on both only half of it was showing but everything else worked Ok. Then after a few time of running it I got a full cab view.

So all now seems to be working.

Steve

Hi Steve,
I'm pleased you've got it working satisfactorily, now :)

If, by "at first in the cab view on both only half of it was showing", you mean that there are white areas, this usually means that either an incomplete cabview is being used or your PC is having difficulty finding the texture files. Giving details of which loco and cabview you're having this problem with will allow us to offer some help, but I'll keep my fingers crossed that it continues to work correctly for you :)

Cheers,
Ged

Hi Ged,

The only time that I have this problem before is when the cabview has been wrong. My graphics card can handle the everything in MSTS and Open Rails.

The loco I am using is from SCP stock, A4 60004 using common sound A4 and the CabView A4.cvf. I tried the loco out on the Skipton V2 route and it worked perfectly.

The view that I got was like when you use key 1, head out.

Regards
Steve.
