Hi,
Sorry, but Art jumped the gun!!
I haven't found a solution, but, instead, have posted an appeal for help - http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 8#p1749430

Hi,
To give more information on my version of this problem ...

When approaching Cambridge, I get the following message :

Clicking <OK> continues the activity, but when the "MEPDG Cambridge 47" service passes, it is short of its last coach. Continuing, then taking a save just before the first RP results in a crash to the Desktop. Attempts to restart from that save again crashes to the Desktop.
Art has reported that, at this point, he doesn't get the CTD, but the loco is silent and doesn't move, so I'm assuming it's because it's got no wheels (see http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 8#p1749430).

Cheers,
Ged

Hi Ged, whilst I've not done any of the Activities for this Route I have looked into it and was wondering if a AI path starts where a static consist
has been placed and this would give a error message you are getting later on in the run and not at the start.
When the time comes to place the AI train the last carriage i.e the read out from the error message tells you the place in the consist that the
wagon is and there is a static in the way and so it cannot be added to the track.
The only way to check this out is go into the Activity Editor and from the time find out the consist that is the one that cannot be placed then find
out where the AI Train starts from and see if there is a conflict.
You may be able to move the static back a bit or to another siding so that it doesn't effect the AI Train when it has to be placed.

Hi Bob,
I've already checked using the Activity Editor and run the act there, without problem.

There is no static consist where this service (MEPDG Cambridge 47) starts; also, it doesn't start close to any points or signal. The start time, from the .act and .trf files, is 28920, which is 08:02 and is exactly the time the consist appears in AE. After starting, it moves up to a signal and stops at 08:03:18 to await another service (MEPDG Cambridge Class 20) crossing its path; this, coincidentally, or otherwise, is the same time that error message occurred!

The strange thing is that in one of my earlier tests, the last 4 coaches of this service gave the same message with the result that when it appeared, it was 4 coaches short!

Cheers,
Ged

Hi Art,
Well Done, mate :)
Wondered if a Windows Update might have affected it, so I've just tried it again, but with the same results as yesterday :(

It'll be interesting to know if you made any changes to your PC before today's (hopefully!) successful run.

Cheers,
Ged
