Sorry Art,I gave you poor information, you need to press the "Shift"key and "Z".................. NOT "X",my error.Sorry about that.
On a Standard Keyboard you will have "Shift"........ then " \" ......... then "Z"
So press Shift plus Z and the frame rates per second will appear at the bottom RHS of you Screen.

Hi Art,
Sorry for the late reply
I think it's one of those things which demonstrates how MSTS, especially when pushed towards its limit, works on different PCs!
I have just run the activity to a successful completion, taking 14 saves in the process, on a different PC, using an exact copy of the same MEP installation.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: MEP - Morning parcels from Cambridge
Ged,I'm glad you did run to completion taking saves as you went, because I was beginning to wonder how I had managed to do so.I tend to keep a record (but not for ever) of the Routes I have completed, especially routes with a lot of activities.I think the only problem I found was the dreaded remove the error line in one of the Coach files and one where I could just not find my way to shunt the Wagons around....

Hi.
Well done Ged mate wish that I was able to complete this one like that. Not ever having anything to do with making Activities I was wondering if whoever did this one was able to do what I think they call a Fix??

Re: MEP - Morning parcels from Cambridge
Hi Art,
I don't believe there's anything wrong with the activity itself, otherwise it wouldn't have been possible (at least for Roger and me!) to complete it successfully, with saves.
It would be great to be able to look inside MSTS to see why these problems occur!! When I removed all the traffic (AI) trains, I was able to take saves without it crashing, but traffic is what adds to the enjoyment of this (and any other) activity. I've not been able to pin it down to any particular consist, so think it's just that in certain configurations of PC, MSTS is struggling with its memory management. I've tried setting train.exe to be Large Address Aware, but it had no effect!
Cheers,
Ged

Hi All.
Just another little problem that I have found in another to save making another post in the Act Bradford to KingsX when you tab the first Red you get prosed with caution but don't wait for the Green or you will be hit by another Train well was when I run it and I run it three times to make sure.

Art it is better (and makes searching easier) to keep the issues of each activity in a separate thread.
I have started a new thread for you and posted your post (above) as the first entry.
