Hi All
I have installed all the rolling stock that is on the list but there is one loco that is giving an error message. The loco concerned is: RF_WD907xx.
The message that comes up is:
Error reading train database file
File Trains\Trainset\RF_WD90775\WDTen.wag
I have checked that the wag file is in the loco file and it is right at the bottom of the list, but MSTS is not seeing it.
Help would be very much appreciated
Regards
Steve

Re: Problem with Stone & Stuff V2
Hi Steve,
There are errors in consist files : WAL_#S&S2_A! RF WD 90755 LE.con and WAL_#S&S2_A1 RF WD 90757 LE.con where the tender line reads :
in both consists. The WagonData line should be amended to read WagonData ( WDTen RF_WD907xx ) in both, because folder RF_WD90775 doesn't exist in the SCP route.
Cheers,
Ged

Hi Ged,
Thanks for your quick reply. I managed to do what you told me. It took me a while to fathom out how to open the con file but I managed it.
As far as being able to run the activity, no go.
Another error message came up with a tank wagon missing which wasn't even in the list.
File: Trains\Trainset\PO_Tank_United_Molasses\PO_Tank_United_Molasses88.wag
I've had a look in the download library but wasn't able to find it.
Regards
Steve

Re: Problem with Stone & Stuff V2
Hi Steve,
As you can probably tell, I haven't run this activity!!
However, the PO_Tank_United_Molasses88.wag is supplied with the Scottish Central Plus route.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Problem with Stone & Stuff V2
Hi Ged,
Sorry I've so long in replying.
I manage to find the United Molasses wagon and sorted that out but then it just threw up another error. So it looks like this is going to happen until I've got all the one's that are missing.
I'll just have to persevere with or wait until the Steam version comes out.
Thanks again for help, Ged.
Regards

Re: Problem with Stone & Stuff V2
Hi Steve,
It will be quite some time before the steam version comes out, well into next year. At present we are still testing eng\wag files for rhe locomotives, some coaching stock has been done,so far A1,A2,A3,A4,V2,L1,are done, now doing tessting J50 and N7 tank Loco's.
Coaches Thompson Crimson Cream and Maroon do14806ne and Gresely suburbans\quad arts and Gresely 61'6' crimson cream corridor stock and br mk1's.
At present no freight stock has been sorted out for this version,I expect Ian MacMillan will have a rough idea of frieght stock to include.
I don't know what activity you are trying to run what route it's for and a file ID would help us help you, but there should be a readme which will list the stock needed.
Have you down loaded all the stock listed at the bottom of the down load?every thing you need is there, when you see the down load arrow, scroll down and all the stock is there, just click on them and they will down load.
Will save you hours trying to sort things out if you down load them first, try these files to get you started they are the most commonly used files, file ID 31515 14608 26669 23549 23749 14806

Re: Problem with Stone & Stuff V2
Hi Michael,
Thanks for replying. it's an act for MEP Plus, Stone * Stuff V2. I have downloaded all the stock for the act and installed them. I've also installed the four AI files that were in a folder. I don't know if the activity analysis can be used to check all the rolling stock for the activity.
I won't be able to do anymore with it until next week due to family commitments.
Regards

Hi Steve,
Route-Riter can be used to check an activity - it will report all missing stock.
Cheers,
Ged
