HS4000 Kestrel and other diesel prototypes.

Post by Dougie_1974 »

Has this model been withdrawn from the file library? I would like to get all the diesel prototypes. Also is GT3 in the file library?

Thanks, Doug

Hi Doug, the File ID 10508 was withdrawn from the library and looking at the printout
of the Thames-Mersey Activity Kestrel Testing which used it, I see that I changed it for
the following equivalent which I think came the Thames-Mersey CD.
UK_Diesel_BR_HS4000_Kestrel
If you have this loco in your Trainset folder you can use the above one as a replacement,
I see that also I didn't find the ICTESTCOACH and use the following one instead.
TC_EH_MK3Coach_LAB_15

Hope this helps
Bob

Hi Bob
They're a bit late as he want's early prototype diesel,
there is also Falcon and the Fell diesels in the library,I don't think the Gas Turbine GT3 has been made,I saw that in the 1950's at the Festival of Railways in London can't remember if it was near Marylebone or Willesden now.

Hi Bob,
I think you may have an earlier version of the Thames-Mersey route!
Although mine has the Kestrel Testing activity, it doesn't use the ICTESTCOACH in its consist.

Hi Ash,
I must have been a bit lazy typed GT3 in the search and it came back no match found,so didn't actually go into the library to check,i blame the weather getting hot and sticky in Peterborough now,air very still reckon we could have a thunder storm some time

No fault of either you or the weather Mike - I too looked for GT3 using the search engine, as I knew it was in there somewhere, but found nothing. The problem is that the search engine often doesn't recognise really short searches, so I resorted to doing things the long way (trawling through the files). :)

A tip for you guys. Go to the download search and then hit the link for download the library listing. That comes down in CSV or HTML format so you can feed it into Excel or Google Docs and then do a textual search.

Works a treat.

Hi Guys - nobody else has posted, so I assume it must be me. I installed Kestrel, with recommended cab and sounds, and it loads OK (from TrainStore) to the cabin view, but when I press any other view (2,3,4 etc) MSTS just freezes or closes down!

Any ideas please? Thanks

Roger
