Value for money.

Post by boeing126 »

I was begining to think there was no value for money anymore,Then a few months ago i discovered "uk.trainsim"Free downloads from 8:0pm seven days a week plus what seemed to be a good deal in cd,s.I thought to hell with waiting till 8 every night so i paid the £10 and sent £4 for a copy mid east. Its got to be the best £14 i ever spent. But thats not all, The forums alone are worth the money being a bit of a thicko i have asked for and got some good help and advice.
This has got to be the best site on the web.

I assume you mean the CD shipping deal?

Yes. I would like to take a crack at some of the Brit routes (even though I do not have a clue about the way things are done there).

I did think in the past that Tim Court had acted as a USA agent for Matt's CDs. Worth dropping Matt an email anyway, I'm sure he can sort out a deal with you.

I've obtained routes from Tim in the past. Don't know if he's still doing it though.

I'm sure Tim would get a MidEast CD to you Kev. And that's perhaps the best one for Brit routes as it covers about a tenth of the whole country. High speed mainline, branch line and colliery/quarry workings all in one package.

Go on... you know those Deltics need a thrash out of Kings Cross... You'll love it. ;)

We're also quite prepared to send anywhere in the world for the four quid - it doesn't happen very often so we dont mind losing out a little on the postage :)

I live in the US - no problems getting CD's from UKTrainSim

Post by pmcausey »

Kevin,

For $6.40 per CD ($1.60 to the pound) UKTrainSim will ship to the US with no problems. I've ordered MidEast, Northern Rails and the Deltic Collection and enjoy all (especially MidEast) greatly. Plus the bonus 1 month per CD premium membership makes it a good deal.

Philip Causey

EDIT - Try reading the posts, Philip. Never mind Kevin, I sometimes forget that Tim's on our side of the pond.
