Tim on Tour :)

Post by Timcourt1 »

All,

Just letting you know I am going to be in the UK from the 30th June till the 10th of July so might be nice to have a "meet" somewhere, I have a few things to do but to get a group of us together somewhere would be good,

I will have someone with me who has requested after seeing all my nightly efforts- to ride a chunk of Mideast for a day so we might be able to do something along those lines :)

let me know

Tim

How about Peterborough? Fairly central on the "MidEast" network, relatively easy to get to from most parts of the country (the South-West being the possible exception) and I'm sure Basil will know a suitable kennel to meet in.

Hi Tim
I propose a meeting for the BlueArrows lot so we can all see what each other looks like !!
The Severn Valley Railway might not be a bad idea !!

How about York and the NRM, central to all.

I'm sure there's a lot of people who would wish to meet you.

Yep, a meeting at the NRM sounds a good idea, it's probably the most central major railway venue there is.

I'd go with that, I'm sure you'll know of 1 or 2 other good places to visit in York that you could keep your promise to me John ;).

Yep, NRM! Relatively easy ride, plus I can catch a train home from Leeds to Morecambe instead of via Preston :)
