Hi All
I have downloaded the activities for Skipton - Carlisle V2 and after installing all the rolling stock for Skipton-Carlisle Local activity I then tried to install the activity. I then got a message saying:
This package requires a route called LMS to Carlisle,. UID Skipton V2
Obviously there is a difference in the naming of the route. I have no idea how to get round this problem. Anyone got any ideas please? The Tsunpac does work because I have also downloaded activities for the Queensbury Triangled & KWVR route.
Thanks in anticipation.
Regards
Steve

Re: Activities for Skipton - Carlisle V2
Hi Steve, the Activity Skipton-Carlisle Local i.e.
is for the Skipton to Carlisle 1920 Route and not the Skipton-Carlisle V2.
Have a look at the set of files starting with the one below and this is Route that Robert McGregor wrote the Act for.

Hi Bob
Thanks for prompt reply. I have now downloaded the 1920 version. I'll let you know how I get on with it.

Hi Bob
I've found out what the problem was now. I use Train Store and I hadn't unstored that route before I installed all the activities. I did download the 1920's version and that was what led me to look at Train Store. The activities have installed in the 1940's version as I thought they must do, because I downloaded them from Activities Skipton - Carlisle V2. They have installed into the V2 route.
Anyway thanks for your help

Hi Steve, glad you've sorted out your problem, I know it takes time to un-store everything in Trainstore as it depends on the size
of your Trainset folder but it must be done to make sure when you install a new Activity it also finds the Route and after loading
you must check to see if you have all the stock it needs to run without causing MSTS to crash.
I swear by Activity Analyser but other people who don't have it can check the Activity using Route-Riter, the beauty of A.A. is the
ease you can change any missing stock to a similar one you already have in your computer.
This is very important when the original Activity is an old one and some used stock has been withdrawn from the library.

Hi Bob
I also use the Activity Analyser although I haven't had it long. I really did miss out before I bought it with downloading activities. If there is only one or two locos or coaches I haven't got its simply enough to change them.
