Hey guys, can anyone help...
I've just installed WCML 3 Leeds Loop i have been driving around and a pop-up appeares saying Failed to open texture file Routes\eb_east coast\textures\road4lane\T.ace. If I press ok another pop-up appeares saying Shape failed to load 4 to 2 ln t.s. I've reinstalled the cd but the same thing happens again, can anyone give me some advice i never had this problem before when it was installed on my laptop a few years back so im confused as to why this is happening now.
many thanks in advance,
Matt

"Failed to open" and "failed to load" are usually signs that your computer is struggling to cope with the demands of MSTS.
Are you running the Bin patch and have you added the mem switch to your MSTS shortcut?

There was a patch to fix this on the old EB website. I've emailed the file to one of the forum team to get it uploaded for you. EB gave permission for their patches to be hosted here but I still need to go via the mods/admins first.

Happy to have helped. Before his untimely passing Ken spoke with me at length and proudly showed me his latest Gauge 1 acquisitions. He also requested I upload the patches here since he was unsure how long they would be available on the EB site.
I feel privileged to have known Ken, despite our differences over the years, my last meeting with him was over a social drink and a sandwich at one of the Brighton shows where we put the world to rights and reinvented the Big 4 railway companies for the 2010s.
Kindest regards

Thanks for putting that up so promptly, John.
When I have more time I'll go through what I have and see if there's any more that can go up.
