Hi - Im not sure you will get a fix for this one. As you say, its been a known fault on this pack for a long time - IIRC dave said at the time (I think on the MT forums) that he would have pulled the pack except it was working fine for some people and not for others. On my old computer I think the VEP and green CIG worked fine but the blue/grey one didn't.
There is/was in the library a freeware pack based on the UKTS CIG for the 2 Lymington units.

Hi steve1023, thanks for reply, I thought thats the answer id get. Just wonderd if some one had found a fix. It seems to be the route and specific parts of routes it plays up. So for example, both units work fine running the Lymington branch on dorset coast so thats a definite plus. But for ages ive tried to create a wheel turning activity with them, so thats dorset coast again, but yet for this no hope atall. I can get so far and then thats it. As you say ive got the freeware pack from here so i guess any running outside the Lymington branch will be with them. Cheers all

As has been said, I have no idea what the problem was, and no idea how to fix it.
It works for me sometimes and then it falls on its arse another time.
If it did not work for everyone I'd have withdrawn it, but it is there with a health warning.
I don't know if shapefile fixer would do anything to it or not. If someone wants to give it go they are welcome to do so.

I tried that when we had this discussion a while back, it didn't help.

But i too ran it threw shape fixer, and i got confident after it said it had changed somthing, but still didnt work

Never mind, thanks for the replys guys, il put this one to bed now then and keep them strickly bound to the Lymington branch. Cheers all

Hi 3digitdriver,
Can we ask which type of graphics card you are using? I remember this problem from a while ago, and as the said CIG seems to work OK on my installation, I presumed that it actually might be a graphics card problem. Most cards get a revised driver after a while, so this might be worth checking.

Well i changed settings in the Nvidia control panel, and i did get different results. Now the unit appears fine apart from the headcode missing, so it will probly still crash in an activity, but may be a bit more stable.
