Hi Art,
There are also 2 other dowloads will they also be put into there correct place???
I don't understand "2 other dowloads", but If you are referring to the two locos in this download :
Click to view more informationNorth Wales Coast 2-6-2 Fowler Tanks [6283548 bytes] - North Wales Coast Fowler Tanks.ZIP
File ID: 28408 Date: 24 Feb 2012 - 339 Downloads

Yes, they will be installed into folder NWCS_Fowler_Tanks within your TRAINSET folder - but please don't worry about them! The important thing is that the included cabview will be placed into folder RF_Fowler_Cabs within the common.cab folder (which is within the TRAINSET folder!).
The great thing is that you don't have to fiddle around with any files - just run the North Wales Coast Fowler Tanks.exe file :D If you don't have file extensions displayed, it is the Application, not the Text Document!
Good luck :)

Cheers,
Ged

Hi Art,
do i just extract to SDJR Trainset as i have to extract to some where???? Is there a backup to do????
You DON'T extract to anywhere! It's an executable file (.exe) which defaults to your 'normal' MSTS Train Simulator folder - if you are using the mini-route, you must change this to your SDJR Train Simulator folder. If you extract to the TRAINSET folder, you'll get a TRAINS folder inside the TRAINSET folder, which will really screw you up :o

Regarding backup - although you don't have to, it's always good practice to backup the folder you're changing in any way; in this case it'll be the TRAINSET folder within the SDJR mini-route (or your main TRAINSET folder if you're not using the Mini-Route option).

Cheers,
Ged

Hi Art,
Yes, that should be OK :) BUT backup before you make any changes!
If your Mini-Route is on C drive, the path will be : C:\sdjr_MiniRoute\Train Simulator
If your Mini-Route is not on C drive, change the C to whichever drive it is on.

Cheers,
Ged

Hi Art,
Done as you said but it did not work cant find Cabview as before
Sorry to hear that :(
I think you must have been altering files within this route, because nobody else has these problems with cabviews!
I strongly suggest that you un-install the existing SDJR route - make sure all the files and folders have gone! - then re-install it. DO NOT modify ANYTHING.
If you want additional activities, install them and their respective stock, but please follow the installation instructions EXACTLY - again, do not change anything! If you then have problems, you can post full details on this Forum, and we'll all have a fair chance of helping you out :)

Cheers,
Ged

Hi Art,

That is good news that you have S&DJR running again now please promise no more altering the cabviews, because you don't like the view from it.

Take Care and happy simming

Mike
