BR 4MT's 43038/43106

Post by sidsn »

Would like to say thanks to Dave Robinson for these models(plus thanks to those who helped with the cabs, sounds and testing}.Had hoped that at some point a model of a "flying pig" might come about.Good to see both single and double chimney examples.

They may not have been the prettiest of locos ever built but still worthy of representation on MSTS.

On a visit to the "real" SVR about a year ago I remember seeing 43106 whicvh is(as far as I know) the only survivor of the class. So no doubt at some point over easter I will be trying out these models on the "MSTS" SVR

Thanks again

The highlight of my trip to the UK from New Zealand about 18 months ago was to visit the SVR and I was thrilled when I was invited up into the cab of 43106 for a ride from Kidderminster station to where they took on water and then back again. I will never forget that experience!!!!

Hi,

I'd like a second that!! It's great to see one of the more 'humble' London Midland locos in MSTS :)

Cheers,
