Whilst we have a DISTURBING lack of Irish route content here, some routes I bet can suffice. One I know of was the Ballyshannon before it was sadly taken down before I could get to it. Where routes though does everyone know of that have a Irish 'Feel' to it? I'm currently working off of the Withered Arm, and the Westvale Branch. Any other suggestions? I'm admittedly not that into English rail other than the IC Swallow stuff, but I'm heavy into Irish as the fact I have Irish in my ancestry.

There's the "Irish Enterprise" and "Irish Enterprise North" routes from Making Tracks. (Conflict of interest declared. )

Oh well I know those, I'm not in a position to spend money at the current time though(Girlfriend will be coming down next month, saving up enough to take us to a NICE place to eat)

I'm afraid that is it,there doesn't seem to be any interest for Irish routes here,or Continental route either,even Wales and Scotland don't have many,the new Scottish Central will cover the whole of Central Scotland though.

There is one Iconic Scottish Route I would love to see and that is the Waverley Route,from Edinburgh to Carlisle.

I've had a look at train sim .com and there are only a few activities for the long with drawn Ballyshannon Route

How much more of Wales could you want? BrisCard, North Wales Coast, Cambrian1 or Cambrian2, that's a large amount of Wales covered. Only 'The Marches' missing really!
Scotland too? Scottish Capital Express, Glas2Car, West Highland, Far North, Highland Mainline, and as you say, SCP when it's eventually out. Again, a large amount covered and not an aweful lot missing!

In terms of Ireland the only route I'm familiar with is MT's Irish Enterprise P1 and P2 as already mentioned.
A 1930's(?) route for Ireland springs to mind as well that I think I remember reading about and or seeing on the upload page once, but I forget what it was called now, and where the route went to and from. I don't think I ever used it.

That would be the KErry railway route, I have that too. I think you all are mis-understanding me though, I'm not wanting specifically Irish routes, as I know they're pretty much non-existant, but I'm wanting various UK routes that have a Irish-feel to it. Examples are again, like what I have already, The Withered Arm, and Westvale.

Balyshannon was a re work of Bala Hub,it kept the same track plan just different station names and different signals.

Try Dorset Coast,Waterloo could be Dublin,Basingstoke could be the Junction where the line going to wards Southampton could be the line to Waterford,and the line to Salisbury could be the line to Cork,or Woking could be the junction for Waterford,Basingstoke,the line to Southampton to Cork,and the line to Salisbury to Galway.
Just use the Irish Stock in the Library instead of British Stock

And from what I tell, is a payware route that you have to buy, since it's only on DvD.... Lovely.

There was one bug with a signal and one activity had to be re written,and I think Peter only has 3 activities to test,then it just has to be packaged up.

Re Wales I was thinking of the line that went from Swansea and Shrewesbury and the line that went from Newport to Hereford and onto Birmingham,actually when you have a look at Wales there aren't really many lines,most lines were the Valley Lines in South Wales.
And the 3 major routes NWC,Cambrian Coast,and the South Wales Route to Fishgaurd.

The thing that limits routes for the original poster is he doesn't want to buy routes,which knocks some really good routes of the list.

Oh believe me, I WANT to buy routes alright! I Just... I just can't afford to. Unlike alot of you all (From what I Know anyway), I ain't in the UK. I'm American... And our Economy is bad. As are the chances of finding a job when you have A: Diabetes, B: Autism.. Not exactly like people looking-for-work are hard to find,s o employers tend to skim over people like me.. Ah well though, shouldn't turn this into a politically typed, thing I guess.. I will say though, alot of the content I'm seeing on here is fantastic looking. If none of you can suggest routes like that though, I guess I might just have to start downloading and trying em out.

I know what it's like to be disabled I'm insulin dependent diabetic and I have had a couple of strokes as well,here also it is hard to get jobs if you are disabled and or over 50.

Some months I can't afford the premium membership rate,but I find that the community routes are good value for money as they are only £4.50 and you get a months premium membership as well,also these cd/dvd's come complete with stock,route,and activities.

I long ago gave up buying commercial addons as I just cannot afford them,I'm afraid after paying utility bills food,diesel which is £1.38 a litre the last time I filled up,doesn't leave much left over,MSTS luckily I don't smoke or drink,but have a girl friend to run.

You could try some of the Australian routes.

They have the same "British but different" look that the Irish railways have.
Just ignore the Eucalyptus trees.
