EM1/EM2 Cab Update !

Post by stevesherratt »

Hi

EM1/EM2 Cab

812 uktrainsim downloads and no one noticed that i had forgotten to include the wiper.ace file ( check pic in download library its got a wiper ), well a guy called David emailed me about it cheers .

I have just uploaded waiting to be approved an EM1/EM2 Cab update which includes this file and also a nice view which replaces right view looking backwards from the rear cab .

Have more fun

Just downloaded your Cab update but when I press right side view I get the rear cab with the side view.

I know things are a bit different in Ozz but that can't be right - can it?

Did you read the " read me "

its the original view or the new rear cab view , just restore the old files you backed up if you prefere the right view .

No, I think what Iain means is that you're looking out of the (v. nice) rear cab - but looking to the right. Methinks a v small tweak to the .cvf file should sort it with no probs.

Iain, what I'd suggest is go into the .cvf file and find the reference to

CabViewFile ( ../../Common.Cab/em1_em2/AcCabRgt.ace )

(note that I've changed the directory name, don't worry about that!), and amend the Position and Direction lines below it to read:-

Position ( 0.85 2.9 -7 )
Direction ( 10 180 0 )

NB this is the last of the Position & Direction entries in the group of 3. Should sort the problem.

enjoy.

Sorry for any Problems

Hi

Thanks micksasse and iainstronach

I added the original acela.cvf to the .zip file by mistake

these are the figures i used ( very similar to yours )

Position ( 0.65 3 -7.0 )
Direction ( 10 180 0 )

I have re-uploaded the whole updated zip file .

If you only need the new acela.cvf and not to happy to edit the cvf i have it for download at

http://members.optusnet.com.au/~stevewaterman/

just click on the small EM2

Many thanks micksasse for your help, those adjustments did the trick.

Shunting is a dream now

Steve

I think you might like to take a look at this in case others have the same problem that I had.

Makes a world of a difference. Makes a great engine brilliant.
