Thanks for that spinemaligna. According to the "Radio Times" online listings, the next "Trainspotting" is next Saturday at 2100hrs (repeated Sunday 0400hrs) and then at these times for at least a further 4 weeks. The Discovery Channel website has continuous "No Programme Information" shown against most slots - almost as if it doesn't know what's on its own channels. Again most helpful of them.

As for the other programme you spotted, missed that too. Not had much luck this week - and the other half has been out in the evening so no excuses for missing anything

Trouble is, "channel hopping" is about the only way we catch programmes tailored to "our needs" as they are few and far between and not widely publicised. On the other hand, if you're a fisherman....

Thanks very much for that Baily9531. Most helpful indeed. I'm in the bit about "Metroland" (at least I hope I still am!) which they originally told me would be a whole programme - but judging by this it's just a quarter of a show. Mustn't be greedy. Should still get a couple of minutes of fame (which took 3 hours to film!)

Like me, I think you're being hopeful. If (and I mean if) I don't end up on the cutting room floor, I think it will last about a minute and a half for me! They planned a 3-minute interview with me. A couple of the questions were a bit "political" and I don't think they got the answers they wanted (well not with my manager watching in the background - I might be on t.v. but it's not going to lead to a career!)

Still, shouldn't grumble. At least they've taken the trouble to make a show like this.

Another face can also be put to a name - simply by watching the same show(s) this saturday (in the section about "Metroland".)

Mine isn't throbbing, and certainly isn't maroon (the last time I looked!) but (if they leave me in) you'll see who I am too!
