MSTS Freezes

Post by trainmad »

Hello all,

Have done a search and couldn't find anything, so hopefully somebody will know.

When I select a route (the Ffestiniog Railway) MSTS Simply Freezes and I have to exit using Ctl+Alt+Delete.

If however, the route is first in the list, then it doesn't need selecting, it works fine! Any ideas?

I've tried tsection.dat as well, if that helps.

Hi Paul,
Haven't heard from you for a long time :) Hope you are keeping OK!

If your route is NOT first on the list, what are the routes above it?
I'm thinking there must be something in those routes which are affecting the start-up of MSTS. Have you tried installing the latest tsection.dat, version 42UK?

Cheers,
Ged

Hi trainmad, i had a similar problem to this some time ago. I say similar, not exactly the same, but when i clicked on the route it would crash in the same way to. Turned out for me that it was a specific loco in an activity(the player) that was causing the problem. After i changed it for somthing else the problem went away. Might not be the same for you but might be an idea. is it happening on only one route? or any route thats next in your list? Cheers
