Re: TSection 42
I have not really done that much to be frank, I have just uploaded the tsection for the last 7 or 8 years, and Letting John know to change the filename.
I do think that its high time for a uk version, and looking after it should not be that much of a task.

Re: TSection 42
Best install 42UK and forget about it.
It is the same as 38 with some new stuff added.
You won't need it until a new route uses the new stuff but by then you will have forgotten about Tsections and wonder why you get errors.
Best download 38 and 42UK and put the unzipped files on the global folder where you can find them if you need them.

Re: TSection 42
Hi Art,
Ian posted a shorter reply so appeared first and is all correct.
This my take. Take your pick.
Quick answer. No!
Proper answer It will not hurt to have them.
As your MSTS is running OK leave well alone.
An old route, newly loaded on to your system, that uses an old tSection will overwrite the existing tSection.
The newly loaded route will work but others that worked before may not.
It is then you need one of the TSections to re-overwrite the tSection then ALL your routes will work again, there are readme's with the downloads explaining the use.
Download the three tSections onto your system in you saved downloads folder or where ever you like even the Desk Top. In Separately named folders. If ever you need any one they will be there. You will know when the yellow MSTS loading bar gets two thirds across and loading fails.
Good luck
Doug

Re: TSection 42
Hi All,
Forinformation to keep people aware.
Things have turned.
I do not know if the keepers of tSections have seen the point we have been making here or what.
http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... &sk=t&sd=a
Be careful with the tSections and keep backup copies in case you find a conflict.
On the face of it, just reading, tSection 43 is the same as tSection 42. I have no tested proof of this.
Good luck
Doug

Re: TSection 42
Hi,
Thanks Doug, but reading the forum on trainsim.com seems to imply that tsection v43 has several errors in it and a re-issue is awaited!
Cheers,
Ged
