If you were serious about wanting to know what people think, then I think the paint job on the 'orange' 47 should be kept on your hard drive! If you want to paint things in bizarre colours, thats your perogative, but I think you should consider the original authors of the locomotive concerned. Do you really think that they would be pleased to see their work displayed in such a way that it may as well have been grafittied over?

Plus, it puts them in an almost impossible situation - they probably want to encourage people to have a go at painting and modelling and even agree to their work being so treated, so it would be difficult for them to say no - even if they felt that what you have done has not in any way enhanced the original model. Unlike North West Trains VR which may appeal to a broader spectrum of people, what/who is Matthewspaintshop likely to appeal to apart from you and some of your mates?

Oh Basildd,
Is this something that Matthew (47522) has just told me you have dipped his confidence in repainting it's unbeleiveable. He said he won't touch another repaint.
Now say what you think! Is this what you wanted ?
