Class 121 permissions

Post by rufuskins »

In the following thread I referred to Class 116 + Class 121 sets used for SANDITE operations

http://forums.atomic-systems.com/viewto ... bde0cd34a7

In order to create the correct units; i.e. renumber Class 121s, and then upload them I obviously need some permissions. I have permission for Class 116 repaints, but not for Class 121 repaints. As far as I can tell I need permission from Peter Harvey (Digman) and Jason Moore. The former joined UKTS circa 2002 but only has 42 posts, and hence I assume a PM will not achieve contact. Can anyone supply some current contact details for Peter?

I do not know what handle Jason Moore used so again any current contact details would be most welcome?

In hope, Alec

Its Probably your best bet to use Regs Bubble cars. As i have tried contacting Peter Harvey (Digman) Multiple times in the past regarding trying to re-release a class 122 we did that was on the site for a week before it was removed for reasons not best gone into. Ive had no replies

Please note that I have recently received permission to carry out repaints of Reg (Refman)'s Class 121s (DMBS and DMS).

Reg has provided models for the BR Green + Whiskers, BR Blue + Full Yellow cab and BR Blue-Grey + Full Yellow cab.

Initially my aim was to repaint some departmental DMBS units for use with Class 116 DMS as Sandite sets. However I shall endeavour to create BR Blue with small yellow panel, the two different NSE liveried versions (straight stripes and turned up stripes) plus the later ones such as the GWR Choc/Cream, Midline, Chiltern Railways and perhaps the Retro Green!

I note that extensive use was made of the 121s for departmental use including Sandite, Route Learning, Video Survey and the Severn Tunnel rescue units - that might be challenging!
