I don't want to be controversial but I don't think singling out a couple of people is the way to go here. We should be thankful for everyone who uploads to UKTS, even if they're Mr Unknown.

So to everyone who uploads stuff, you have my thanks.
Regards.

Dave.

I was only thanking the two people who created routes that i have been involved in testing with that weren't listed in the original post.... don't see the harm in that really?

Hi There,

A Big Big Thankyou to Rick Gibb,

You don't or won't see his work.

But if you like driving steamers then the chances are you maybe using one of his engfiles.

The man just has the knack of making each class of loco a little different.

Excellent Stuff

A good man to be in contact with as well.

Thank you Mick, being on the job all those years ago does give me an edge.
But the bit I do is easy compared to you modelers and route builders

Blinking shame I cannot model though.

And Jimmy yes I have tales you would not believe.

Like the night working a fully fitted freight with a Crab going to Wigston
train were for Nuneaton, Drive George Jones re-nound nutter bless him,
going though Market Harborough station which is on a curve and was speed
restricted to 50 mph and you usually coasted we were'nt George still had steam
on till we hit the platform that was a scary few seconds Crabs kicked and bucked
all over the place terrible ride they were, all George said that was close.

Me it were a good job I had a pee over the side dropping down from Desborough.

Crabs though I liked them good steamers worked a good few never a problem
with any of them

I later were booked with him and some of the things he got up to were, well
its a wonder BR kept him on the job but they never new what he got up to
most of the time all his mates covered for him  Rick
