Mike Simpson - for Route Riter
Okrasa Ghia - for XTracks
David Beach - for Standardised TSection
Richard Garber - for great routes and tutorials

Or do you have reasons to limit this to UKTS residents?

erm...how big is your loco fleet? ;)

And a clarification - "Robin of Northampton" is Robin Howell, (so he no longer sounds like a mythical forest-dwelling outlaw) and Paul's surname is spelled Gausden. I would have nominated both these gents but work too closely with them, so I'm glad someone else did.

I though he might like the Robin of Northampton tag .... sounds quite dashing.

Sorry Paul :)

Don't forget 'activity makers' otherwise we'd all be running up and down in 'Explore Route' mode

Oh and the Southern Boyz require a mention as they've made a great impact :)
Cheers

Often members say they feel second-class as they havn't uploaded anything.

Markw is only one such person ( the upload bit not the feels second-class) who takes a keen interest and keeps morale up with his sense of humour.

They are celebrities in their own right.

Plus there's Matt's dad who lurks around and The Lord Delancie deflowering maidens and shooting peasants at Atom Hall :)
Cheers

Be serious now John, you can't expect NWT virtual drivers to take a 2,000tonne anhydrite train over Shap in a loco called 'Matt's Dad'!

Well 08196 is Wombat so hopefully MarkW won't feel second class - and it can keep 08193 (Bungee) company....lol

You mean there is something I can use rather than explore mode??

And the Southern Boyz will no doubt be plastering their Silverspeed stock with suitable Boyz names - its taken me ages to clean off Steve from 33108

A darned sight bigger than it was meant to be originally! :D

Just goes to show the sheer number and variety of people who have contributed in making MSTS what it is today. The idea will be to post one or two loco's every time there is a lull in stuff to upload (I don't mean like the last week when there has been something new every ten minutes or so but on days where nothing seems to be happening). None of this is meant to offend anyone so if your name has been mentioned and the very thought makes you cringe and your toes curl, please drop me a PM and just say No thanks. I will understand as will the people who have suggested you.

Being done on a VR theme means that the serious people can totally ignore them and those interested in the VR will have a wide variety and choice for use with their driving tasks or whatever.

As was rightly pointed out, you don't have to have uploaded stuff to be a valuable contributor to MSTS or this site, there are people whose ideas, thoughts etc play a big part in this! And yes, there are those that will think this was a bad idea - but then someone awarded Connex and Arriva franchises to operate too so mistakes are sometimes made.... :P

Not at all - UKTS residents use the works of all the above named so I am happy to include them.

As long as no one starts 'why am I on a Class 08 when he is on a Class 56' then all will be well.... :) Its not size that counts......

What about Vern a loco named Vern Moorhouse? Named after the creator of 3 Scottish routes.
