i noticed the file today which has 8 seperate downloads for it,please excuse for being so coy.why cant the download be one package?i think it maybe easier depending on the upload system to make it an iso.with readme its like the briscard route, and woodhead,it just fills your desktop with files and dependancies.not knocking any one of thekind route builders.cud the files be condensed.thankyou for your time.not havin a dig .

Hi Tony,
I think the reason is that there are still quite a number of users on dial-up internet access (ie not broadband). Remembering back to those days - very often when downloading a large file, one glitch would abort the whole thing! I know about download accelerators where the download can be split into individual parts and downloaded simultaneously, and may be resumed, but not all sites permit their use.
Cheers,
Ged

I tried to down load this from the train.de as it was a single down load but it was going to take 18 hours to down load, and the stock was 10 hours, this way it only took me about 30 mins,as if you follow the instructions there is no problem, and had it up and running with in 40 mins.

Hi Tony,

This should not be as you choose where to download to. Make a Folder called MSTS Downloads or something like and download into that. When you have all the downloads required put them all in another Folder named the route or the act or whatever. Then work from that folder when installing. That way you have a ready made backup as well.
Hope this helps
Good luck
