Class 87's

Post by simont »

Very pleasing to see these appearing on the site, and they're excellent models too - although you built my hopes up a bit by crediting a sound author on the upload. :)

It doesn't say so but are they another product from West Coast Electrics?
I loved their 81's and 86's.

Hi

No, Tim Court didn't do these, and he wasn't planning to do an 87 anyway.

Nope,

I have simons 87 in Gmax here to texture but quite frankly I don't think I can do it.

West coast electrics will have some more 86's coming and also some wcml heritage loco's

Thanks for the feedback! As time allows, I'll be uploading more variants of the 87. At the moment I am working on 87101 in Railfreight colours and 87005 in later Intercity colours. I also have the loco in Parcels livery which I need to add a Class 86 front end (with other required mods). Before my next uploads, I'll be doing further improvements on the pantograph- still a bit new to animation!

I have a tsm model of a BW high speed panto, Stone Faiveley too plus the double cross arm, let me know if you are using TSM and i'll send you those with the animation too if you like.

If you could send the pantos, Tim, that would be a great help! Yes, I am using TSM.

Thanks!
