at 13:47 on Monday 23rd December 2002 i would like to announce a competition and extend a invitation to join in.
At present this IS NOT suported by the Webmaster,moderator or server of http://www.uktrainsim.com,or Atomic.

This competition will run from 1st January till the 1st March and will ask all modelers and those who just want to try out their skills.

The project that you must complete to qualify for prize (described later) is you must desighn a TOTALY NEW train AND CARRAIGES TO MACH FOR EITHER
(I) Freight
(II) Pasenger or...
(III) International (threw the tunnel) duties....

You can design your train to be any type you like so long as it conforms to one of the 3 above types.
You can make it Steam,DMU,DEMU, EMU, Electric Loco, Deisel Loco or Gas powered.

You will also be asked to provide a description of it,any design pics and a Proto-Type for use in MSTS .

You will be asked to paint it in either class livery or the livery of an existin TOC or a Virtual Operatin Co.

Prizes:
There will be 3 prizes

(1st Place ) Â£50.00 to spend at http://www.Amazon.co.uk
(2nd Place) An add on disk for MSTS from Amazon.co.uk (up to Â£25)
(3rd Place ) One months freem member ship at http://www.uktrainsim.com

None of the above prizes have been authorised by the holders of the above websites,
All prizes will be paid for by myself.

UPDATE:

At 15:30 hrs (GMT) an ajustment to pre set rules has been imposed on the competition detailed above

All entrants must register and recieve a reference-to recieve this send an e-mail or send a p/m to member N863DWT.

Also the date previously noted are being reset , the time limit for concepts will be 31st January 2003, models that are finished must be submited by agreed methods by 31st March 2003,Any one who will require further time will be allowed a further 7 days . However this can affect their score and chances of winning.
At 15:30 hrs (GMT) this is posted in "Wanted Forum" this will be posted in the other 3 by 17:00 hrs (GMT) 23rd December 2002
