TGV Errors

Post by bpre5ley »

I have been trying to sort out ptoblems with TGV developed by EB and downloaded from Just Trains. And while there is no faul on my PC.
XP SP3
1.8 AMD2+ sempron
250GB Primary drive/40GBslave drive
Everything fully upto date.

There are two error messages I get one going one along the route and the other going the other way
I have been on to Just trains website and downloaded the service pack which is supposed to fix these problems

"No extended shape data for UKCrossGate.s"
and
"No extended shape for JP1 Car Crossing."

On JT's website there is contact details but not for tech support.
MSTSBin can't solve it, Train Store can't fix it. Closing as much as possible doesn't solve it.

Does anyone else have these problems, or does anyone know how to solve them.

There is nothing to suggest that the Euro Loco pack is needed.

Is that the entire error message?

Do you have both the .s and .sd files in your routes\jttgvtp\shapes folder for both these files?

Have you run the route through Route Riter and if so, what details does that give?

Do you have the default routes installed? There are .sd files for both the files above - the 'JP' one is in the Japan route shapes folder, the other is in both of the Europe route shapes folder.

Cheers

I have also noticed a problem with installing the service pack. On installation it does not detect the Train Simulator file. I end up having to browse and tell it where to install, it the installs into the proper TGV routes folder

Thanks for mentioning route riter. I had even heard of it. I downloaded, installed and got it fixed. Ithink it has also solved problems on another commercial route as well

So thanks for bringing that one up.
