Hi Dave,

I have drawings for the Standard 4 tank and the Standard 5, both Caprotti fitted and standard. I'm not sure about the 9f but I may have something for that as well. If these will be handy I can send them too you. :)

John.

Hi Dave,

That's the 82000 and the 84000 series isn't it? I'll have a look at my old Railway Modellers ( I never throw anything out :D ) I've a feeling I may have a drawing for either both or at least one of them.

I'll let you know. :)

John.

What about the southerns odd man out?

BR Standard Class 3MT 2-6-0 No. 77014 was only based on the SR for a year or so but the 'invader' hauled the last revenue earning steam service (a parcels train) on the southern region at 9pm on July 9th 1967 between Bournemouth & Weymouth. She sadly didn't survive into preservation despite efforts to save her, however her chimney does survive in the care of the group who are building a new Standard 3MT tank.

A snap of the Southerns 'odd man out':

Thanks Doug, but I normally go here to find which magazine might have a particular drawing. It's very good. :)

Dave. I've found the drawing for the 84000 one and I've also come across some for a Franco-Crosti fitted 9F. :)

If you pm me your e-mail address I'll send you the ones that you want. :)

John.

Hi John,
OK. Knowing the time it can take to flick through all your mags, enjoyable as it is, for something you know you have seen somewhere. There was no harm in flagging it up.

I have never seen that web site before. Looks like a good first step to save e-Mails to all and sundry.
So I have Bookmarked it. Thanks for posting it.

Good luck
Doug

Na, we don't want to go there.
but seeing as they were North Eastern England and Scottish based locos, it'll be OK. :P

I think this is a grand idea and all for a worthy cause.

Though mainly a diesel man, I would be more than interested in the finished product :)

Just looked at them and they look very nice indeed, well done. Is there any chance of an un-lined 78xxx for use on the Cambrian? That would be very much appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Cheers,

Paul
