1995 stock

Post by brick60000 »

Hi,
I have downloaded Sjoerd Ydama's 1992 & 1995 Tube Stock trains but can't get it to move. Any Suggestions would be welcome.

Hi,
What are you programming ,AI or driveable?

If driveable, note Connor's comments

"Requires MSTSBin v1.7 as this uses the "switching ends" feature. Press the "Z" key to get the train to move "

If AI, you may need to create AI versions using RouteRiter.

Hi brick,
That was a difficult one to sort out!!

Try this :
1. Press 'W' to select Forward - there is no screen display
2. Press 'D' twice to get 20% or 3 times to get 50% traction
3. Press 'Z' (often has to be used to get electrics to work!)
4. Release brakes by pressing '[' key - there is no screen display

This worked with the LU95TS Northern. I've not tried the others, but have every confidence it will work!

Cheers,
Ged

Hi!

I agree with Ged's comments.
I've just tried it the 95 stock, and by pressing Z as well as the "[" key, this makes the train move.
One more point - use the "[" and "]" keys for braking. The braking using the "A" key doesn't work, despite it having a single "brake and accelerate" controller!

Hi brick,
I know it's of absolutely no use to you, but I've got the same problem with that stock! I did get it to work ONCE after I'd changed ends, but I think that was more to luck than anything else!

I think the main problem is the lack of on-screen notices of the effects of the keys pressed. We need some help from one of the wizards on here who knows if these can be displayed - maybe via the eng file??

Cheers,
