Right
im so peeved, i have just reinstalled Windows XP, and freshly placed a copy of MSTS on there.

I have tested the lines in explorer on the bare install... all ok and
tested the activity editor with no problems.

I have then installed Mid East V1.0 did the same and all ok.

THEN

I installed the 2 Xtras for mid East and my old Consists and Trains folders across, tested in explorer mode No probs

Click on activity editor and BANG send dont send..

Now i thought that xtracks for mid east wasnt required because it was installed when you applied the addons?is this correct?or is it because i havent installed xtracks yet and this is y im getting the send dont send ?


I fed up with this as this is why i removed my entire C drive and formatted because i could play in explorer mode but never edit?
Or could it be an addon(loco, coach or wagon?)

I think it is much more likely to be a problem with your old stock and/or consists. Have you run a checking tool on them, there are plenty to choose from?

by old i mean installed and just moved around thats all from C to D to C

You state in your post that after the install of MideEast all was OK but after adding the TWO extras it went pearshaped. There are in fact THREE extras to get to V1.2 if you have the original V1.0.
If your Send/Don't Send existed before the rebuild and only occurs after copying Consists/.Trainsets back from D to C then as Ian suggested you have probably got a rogue in there somewhere and you will need to run through them with something like Conbuilder to eradicate the problem.
A slower option is to only copy back from D to C one trainset at a time and when you get the Send/Don't send delete the rogue trainset.

Tim Courts MidEast UK v1.0 puchased from yourselves on CD approx 3 months ago(at same time as Northern Rail routes 5.0 was released )

and would it be something like a problem with an incorrect line in the ENG file that may cause this?

I now on previous installs it was ok as this is why im so stumped, but when u unintsall and install so many times u lose track...

its started doing it again after the consists and trains folders copied accross so will investigate further tonight as it was 2am when it started to happen again
