@ Mick - have you got any environment/sky packs installed such as from "How in the World?"
I have currently changed the environments to the MEP ones which are fine.

After a great deal of detective work, I have found a cure. Changing sigboxnames1.ace in the snow file to the summer ace fixes the problem. I have never come across this type of issue before but the winter ace looks a lot bigger than it should be in terms of KB.

Thanks Mick, we'll investigate that. Winter textures of course have snow... so just swapping one for a summer texture, while it fixes the immediate problem is not the ideal solution.

The sigboxnames.ace was made by Decapod I think... so we'll take a look at it.

Yes, I remember discussing non-working stop signals such as at Highworth, but don't recall the fixed distants, it doesn't detract from the route.

Hi Art,
With all due deference. This was answered for you eralier in the thread. 8)
There are 40 activities in the FULL Download.
They comprise:-
Constructors trains and inspections.
Opening day.
Mixed traffic.
Freight.
Passenger.
Special wartime operations.
Up to Grouping in 1923.

With more to come, covering Grouping to 1948 and then even more for the BR period to closure.
It looks like coming close to Thames Mersey for included acts.

Use the F11 screen only for the act instructions. The one in the activity download is out of date, soon to be corrected I believe.

Good luck
Doug

Doug beat me to it, but to just add to give an idea of how many more activities there will be, there are 26 more activities that take you from 1925 to 1941, i think about 18 of these have been tested so far. The final batch of activities will give a further 20 dating from 1948 to 1964 which as has already been said, deal with the decline and closure of the branch.

So eventually there will be over 85 activities for you all to enjoy, but for now you have the current 40 released ones to keep you occupied

Look in the route folder.

There is a folder called Media which contains a whole stack of information.

There is a map in the Media\Images\Schematics folder called hwmap02.bmp showing the branch.

Hi Tony,
Those sections, along with others, are in the tsection38 update that the installers put in your Global Folder.

If Highworth worked for you up to now and you are running the new Grouping acts. I know there were extra files, to fix the points not moving at Highworth Station, in the Activtes download:-

Click to view more informationHighworth Branch - Grouping Era Activity Pack [2997555 bytes] - Groupingactivities.zip
File ID: 25032 Date: 11 Oct 2010 - 698 Downloads

These files are automaticly installed by the self installer. Usual rules Unzip to temp double click .exe (Do not install directly to MSTS.)

Train Store? Store All routes and Unstore just HighWorth.

Good luck
Doug
