Atomic Systems

Following on from Matt's thoughts on feedback, etc. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Ian Macmillan for his many and varied wagons, of which I have been installing many into my Wagon trainset.

Hi Ruf,

I have to agree with you. Ian's work has been superb and he is always looking to move his models forwards. For example we have just been treated to updated wagons for Burton-Derby.

Without Ian's wagons a lot of routes would be very dull and lifeless.

Also and very importantly, he is very helpful and if he does critisice something, it is usually done in a constructive manner.

Glad you like my stuff.

One thing that surprises me is that nobody complains or criticises.
Even when there is an error I usually spot it before anyone else does.

I also don't get requests for repaints.
There are lots of liveries that need doing for the tanks and I am not the greatest painter. I'd rather make new stuff than repaint.

Of course the wagons would be useless without the activities, locos and routes to run them so let me take the oppertunity to thank the people who make them.

The wonderful thing about train simming is the way everybody comes together to create the total experience.

My wagons are a payback to everyone involved.

But you only see the tip of the iceberg, so to speak, in the activities. There's so many and when you add in the loads. Thats some considerable achievement.
What is needed is a very special route. A Museum Route That would display all the stock in such a way that they could be walked around and viewed.
Often I've mused on this idea. Once I even had a go at it. But it needs a greater brain then mine.

Though i am the new lad in the village here, i want to say a thank you here also, Ian not only does great work but he is very helpful and generous with advice as well. I am digging for his works now and adding them as i find em.

I'm wondering if Ian might actually be the biggest "unsung hero" of the MSTS world. He has made so many of the "less obvious, less glamourous, but essential" models that you see in MSTS that, in my opinion, he does deserve a medal or two
