Notice about recent uploads

Post by Backfoot2002 »

Thanks to Lee Scott for pointint this out, but some of my recent uploads actually install to the wrong location. Rather than installering the trainset to the 'TRAINSET' folder, I made a typo and installed them to 'TRAINSETS'.

The followign files are affected so you may notice them dissapear whilst the installer is modified.

Hello mate, I dont know if your fix will fix this issue but Im having a bit of a problem with your weathered RHTT wagons.

After copying the folder over from Trainsets to Trainset they show ok in the AE but then I keep getting the following message after which the AE stops responding....
Error reading train database file

File: Trains\Trainset\RHTT_Weathered\RHTT_Wagon_3.wag
In total there are 12 files in the RHTT_Weathered folder including the PDF readme.

Ive also uploaded 57007 so you can have both 57003 & 007 top and tailing the RHTT.

Hmm strange, I still seem to be having the same problem.

I have deleted all the old files and any instances releated to it such as consists, services. paths etc etc and have redownloaded and installed just the Weathered version but it is still throwing up errors...

1st error
Error reading train database file

File: Trains\Trainset\RHTT_ACM\ACM_RHTT_3.wag
2nd error
Error reading train database file

File: Trains\Trainset\RHTT_Weathered\RHTT_Wagon_3.wag
Can anyone else out there try using these wagons and report back their findings?

RHTT_Weathered_3.wag is still names as RHTT_Wagon_3 in the file.

Should be.....

Wagon ( RHTT_Weathered_3

Can't find any problem with the un-weathered versions.

I did notice that the .eng files were vacuum braked while the .eng files were air but this should not cause a problem at startup.

Ian is right. Just rename that file and it should be fine. I'm just correcting the issue and testing it again. If all is well I will reupload it.

Thanks for the replys everyone,

I have renamed the first line in the .wag file to "Wagon ( RHTT_Weathered_3" (no quote marks) and all the error messages have gone and the AE is stable, however this wagon does not now show in the Consist Editor.
