Shape Viewer Problem

Post by trainmad »

Hello!

Got a problem with Shape Viewer, wondered if anybody knew a fix at all?

When I load it up I get the message:

Run-Time Error '339':
Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Would be glad of any help!

Thanks,

Paul

From Shape Viewer tutorial I must put back up on msts.steam4me.net
"If you receive a Run-time error 339: Component 'comdlg32-ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered error: a file is missing or invalid error, run the following commands:

regsvr32 /u /s comdlg32.ocx
regsvr32 /s comdlg32.ocx"

hi, not sure what operating system you are using, but if vista or win 7 try uninstalling shapeviewer & reinstalling it with run as administrator option, it should then be able to register it's own files. Also it needs to be set to run as an administrator after installation as it is modifying files.
