Can you wait for the class 50s

Post by Hymek »

I Have recieved an email from mark today on the Class 50 front

This is what he wrote

I have no objection at all to you reskinning my class 50, thats why I did
the repaint kit.

My only concern is that the model is a bit long in the tooth now and not to
a high enough standard to invest all that effort in, but having said that,
although an updated 50 is on my to do list it will be quite a while before
I start work on it.

Let me know if you need anything from me that may help.

Good luck with the project.

Mark

Now i can wait for the updated Class 50, The Big Question is can you, im prepared to paint them now and not convert them later, or wait now and crack on with it when the new Class 50 comes out

Do you want to wait, because im painting them for you as well

well I voted yes, I'm prepared to wait. If you do them now and if/when Mark improves the shape of his 50 and the textures are greatly altered it might make yours look out of place.

Having said that if you do them I will gladly download them, whichever class 50 shape version they are on :)

I would certainly say yes to waiting....thats why I haven't approached Marks as of yet to uploading some split box 37's with headcode variations
as they are beta's when he releases a version 1 then (permission granted) I'll do these.
