Re: Glad I'm Staying With MSTS
In fairness many "RW" (as in real world) rail routes these days feel like you are travelling down an avenue of bushes and trees. Last time I travelled over the Central Wales line a few years ago you could hardly see the broad vistas and hills for all the bloomin' trees in the way. However I freely admit it is a route builders' cheap trick which I've used on more than one occasion during the tired stages, just to fill an area in quickly. Particularly where RW is concerned, tree planting is far quicker than terrain painting!

Hi All,
I would love to join in with the comparisons over the RS graphics.
ALL I NEED IS A COMPUTER CAPABLE OF RUNNING IT. (Old news) My smilies are not working.
Good luck

Hi Geoff,
You have not got time to mess about with RS,
You have a project to finish first.
I must admit I did put RS on the Christmas box suggestion list but .........hey ho........ after consideration I told 'em not yet!. I have too much other stuff to do.

Your right there Mick. But I won't be using it, not for a few years anyway, as there is so much on MSTS I want to do, after the Scottish Central Plus of course, that's top priority at the mo.

My Point?
You can have as many Sims as possible on your PC and as Ash points out they ain't exclusive. It's pretty obvious to me that this latest MSTS GP38-2 from Eric Cantu shows that MSTS isn't a dead duck?
Geoff
BTW if there was a simple programme like Shapeviewer for RS/RW at least those of us without those sims could look at downloaded models? ....but again I have to say that there's WAY more to a simulator than a few pretty models?
PS I chose the models that were closest to the MSTS model in type and skin. No other motive.
