Hi Tim
Looks great, but have tried three times and get a freeze up when I get to where the route joins the old section, just b4 siding on right south of Welwyn. Only installed both files, drove in explore mode only.
regards
Don

Errors in the upgrade (As I have done a little testing to find out why) come from a number of things, The upgrade was designde to run stright on top of the original CD CLEAN install then the subsequent upgrade to V1.1
Reasons for errors can be numerous BUT, if you have an untouched install of MEV1.0 with the 1.1 upgrade then you will have no problems.
If you have:
Run Route riter to generate a ref file
Been into the route in RE
Made any alterations to the route in RE
Added to the route in ANY way
Installed the Mideast route over the top of you old Fict ECML (All Versions)
Used any 3rd party addons to check Paths, services, traffic
These are just a few things that will generate an error - hence the reason why I didnt put a ref file in the route originally, however if you do a clean install of the CD then the 1.1 upgrade, 1.2 will install and you will have a ref file since one is included in 1.2

You know, I never noticed the ref file. until this post, I don't think anything need's adjusting, and anything that does is irrelivant.Timcourt1 wrote:you will have a ref file since one is included in 1.2

First thank you to Tim for picking up my post, reference 'Errors', also to Alan2 who took time to reply.
Rather than carry out a complete install from scratch, I decided to take a short cut in the first instance by re-installing patch 1.1, followed by 1.2 (1 + 2), leaving the CD ROM well alone.
After re-running MSTS, all appears well.
Just to let you know Tim, I love your creation, which provides hours of enjoyment from the realism of this fantastic route. As it says against the text, a new provider to the forum, but a member since 2001. It's not often I have the courage to wite in, but it is important to take time to thank the creator of this incredible piece of software.
