Have finished the Download and am now going to start chaning the Activities. To use ME1.2, will be a seperate Upload. So anyone with 1.0,1.1 can still Use the origional Download.

I will include a Better Read Me too.

You've done it again Tim! I'm gobsmacked... travelling north through London is just fantastic, but you didn't get my parents house modelled. ;) Just kidding mate. I found myself speeding plenty of times because I was forever just saying WOW and using outside views. Naughty boy...

Now I need to find out a lot more about prototypical running on the ECML and get some more activities made.

Problems with new Mideast ver. 1.2

Post by tandy »

Tim, Have downloaded new upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2, but on running, I did find ERROR MESSAGES, referring to tunnels not being correctly formed between Welwyn and Kings Cross. Reading the above notes, it appears others are not experiencing problems, however, I did run the v 1.1 patch prior to unzipping your latest creation.

Might a wise thing to do in the first instance, be to run the 2 x .exe files again, over the recently (now) unzipped files, with a view to providing a fix?

I would be grateful if you could advise.

Thanks, Tandy

I had a problem but it was my fault, I had adjusted something, I just re-installed the route from my back-up and run the v1.1 patch then run the downloaded file 1 (Upgrade), then 2 (Patch File), and it run OK.

Have you tweaked the route in any way other than Activities.

There is a little scenery "Bleed through" at Gasworks, mainly due to the elevation, its very low, I could have cleared it but you would have got White instead

Thanks for comments Alan, but I do not believe I have tweaked the Route. I must admit I have added a few Activities, but hopefully this action would not affect the outcome.

From your comments, I could delete the route & re-install Mideast from scratch, followed by adding patch, 1.1 + 1.2 after this. This shouldn't take too long. However, I will give this action a little more time, to allow for any further advice, before going down this road.

I am grateful for your comments, though.

Sorry, asalmon, I hadn't read this thread untill now - didn't mean to muscle in on your territory by making a Northbound Express. Don't let it dissuade you though, the more the merrier...

No worries Simon. It takes the pressure off me, I am rather busy with other things at the moment.
