SVR Diesel Gala Pack

Post by chester025 »

What's this pack like and what is included? As it is now 5 years old, I can imagine that some of the stock is looking outdated?

i have this pack and it's very good it has most of the SVR's diesl fleet on plus some good activities from one of their diesel galas

the stock includes
the svr's Dmu, 37906 and 40's 40135 and 40145, Virgin Voyager Severn voyager they are the one's i can remember to hand.

it's a good pack and with it being only £4.40 it's a bargin til 2010 then the vat goes up.

I have this pack but don't have the SVR. It is entirely possible to install it and just use the stock.

There is no doubting that some of the stock looks a little dated but it is still worth having for just a bit more than the price of a pint of beer and less than a gallon of diesel.

There are freeware alternatives to most if not all of the stock but some members are not comfortable switching stock when activities call for the SVR Diesel Gala pack.

If you can get along to any of the 2010 UKTS shows that are in the diary on the front page then you can get a copy for free (1 CD per member). However, for most people the cost of getting there would outweigh the £4.40 / £4.50 cost of the CD.
Kindest regards

I think I'm right in saying it contains the Western and Warship cabs which are no longer available from the download library.
