Gravestones...

Post by NiallGray »

I noticed going through my notes and using aerial photos that the route I'm working on passes a few graveyards and for a bit of authenticity I'd like to put some into the route.

I could have sworn a while back I saw on one of the MSTS sim sites, a group of gravestones, while searching for scenery. Problem is I can't remember where I saw them.

So to any of those members who browse the other MSTS sites, have you ever seen gravestones in scenery downloads, and if so, where?

Thanks for that. They're not the ones I remember seeing, but they will do nicely for the route.

G'Day, you will find MSTS Small Cemetery at TrainSim.com file name cem1a.zip.
I guess it is for the dead centre of the route  sorry could not resist the pun  .

Again, not what I was thinking of, but that's a really nice model!

Probably a bit too suburban for the route, couldn't use that out in countryside, but I've downloaded it in case it can be used elsewhere. The author's readme is a bit confusing so would probably have to try and contact him if I decided to use it.

Thanks for that, Barrie.

That is a neat little model.

What I've gone with is the default groups of gravestones from the US route as I have a lot of space to cover. However, I found when placing these in MSTS they were a bit too small and barely noticeable, so I've played about with the size a little in SFM and now have something I'm happy with.
